A. Department Created, Composition: There is hereby created the Water Department, an executive department of the Village. The Water Department shall consist of the Director of Public Works and Water who shall be the head of the Department and such number of other officers and employees as may be assigned thereto.
B. Powers And Duties: The Director of Public Works and Water shall be the head of the Water Department and responsible for the efficient management thereof. All officers and employees assigned to this Department shall perform their duties subject to the control and supervision of said Director, and shall obey all instructions and orders given by him.
C. Enforcement Of Code Provisions By Department: The Director of Public Works and Water, and all officers and employees in the Water Department, shall be charged with and see to the enforcement of all provisions of this Code and other ordinances relating to the water supply system where no provision to the contrary is made.
