7-4-4: LOADING ZONES:
It shall be unlawful for the driver of a vehicle to stand a passenger vehicle or any freight carrying vehicle for a period of time longer than is necessary for the loading or unloading of passengers or for the loading, unloading or delivery of materials, not to exceed three (3) minutes, in any place designated by the board of trustees as a loading zone and marked as such, or in any of the following designated places:
   A.   Stand or park a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except momentarily to pick up or discharge passengers:
      1.   In front of a public or private driveway.
      2.   Within fifteen feet (15') of a fire hydrant.
      3.   Within twenty feet (20') of a crosswalk at an intersection.
      4.   Within thirty feet (30') upon the approach to any flashing signal, stop sign, yield sign or traffic control signal located at the side of a roadway.
      5.   Within twenty feet (20') of the driveway entrance to any fire station and on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any fire station within seventy five feet (75') of such entrance (when properly signposted).
      6.   At any place where official signs prohibit standing.
      7.   In any alley.
   B.   Park a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading merchandise or passengers:
      1.   Within fifty feet (50') of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing.
      2.   At any place where official signs prohibit parking.
      3.   In any alley. (1987 Code)
