A. Reckless Driving: It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle in the village in a reckless or wanton manner, or carelessly so as to endanger life or property.
B. Driving In Careless Manner: No person shall drive any motor vehicle in a careless manner or without having the vehicle under proper control or without due regard for the safety and convenience of other vehicles.
C. Excessive Speed: Notwithstanding any speed limit which may be allowed, no person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed which is greater than reasonable or prudent for the conditions of, and the traffic upon, the street at the time.
D. Following Too Closely: The driver of a motor vehicle shall not follow another motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer more closely than is reasonable and prudent, having due regard to the speed of both vehicles and the traffic upon, and conditions of, the highway at the time.
E. Drag Racing: No person shall engage in a race between two (2) or more motor vehicles on the streets of the village. For the purposes of this subsection, the term "race" shall include so called "drag racing", quick starts at the change of traffic lights and such other meanings as are customarily given to it.
