A. The Fire Chief shall collect the following fees for ambulance services:

B. The Village shall impose a mileage fee of five dollars and sixty cents ($5.60) per mile for all ambulance transports regardless of the type of ambulance service provided.
C. Payment for ambulance services shall be the responsibility of the recipient of said services.
D. Fee Increases: The fee set forth in the table above for ambulance transport shall be increased annually, effective January 15 of each year, without further Village Board action pursuant to the Medicare reimbursement rate or three percent (3%), whichever is greater.
