A. Position Created: There is hereby created the position of Village Sanitarian.
B. Appointment: The Village Sanitarian shall be appointed by the President and Board of Trustees.
C. Powers And Duties: The Village Sanitarian is charged with the duty of enforcing all provisions of this Code and statutes of the State pertaining to the public health. In the accomplishment of his duties, he shall have the power to inspect premises at reasonable hours, to take samples of foodstuffs and materials for testing, and to issue such orders as may be necessary for and conducive to the public health.
