3-1-11: REVOCATION OF LICENSE:
The president shall have the power to suspend or revoke any license issued under the provisions of this code for good and sufficient cause or if the president determines that the licensee shall have violated any of the provisions of this code or any statutes of the state. However, no such license shall be revoked or suspended except after a public hearing, first having given five (5) days' written notice of said hearing to the licensee affording the licensee an opportunity to appear and defend. The public hearing shall be held before a license commissioner appointed by the president, who shall report in writing his findings to the president.
If the president shall determine after such hearing that the license should be revoked or suspended, the president shall state, within fifteen (15) days, the reason or reasons for such determination in a written order of revocation or suspension and shall serve a copy of such order upon the licensee. Such revocation may be in addition to any fine imposed. (Ord. 2003-02, 3-3-2003)
