(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
(B) For a violation of § 73.001 of this chapter, the fine shall be $100, reduced down to $50 if paid within 72 hours of the offense.
(C) (1) (a) A person who violates §§ 73.015 to 73.024 of this chapter on the first offense shall be fined $100. A person who violates §§ 73.015 to 73.024 a second or subsequent time within a calendar year of the first offense shall be fined the sum of $250. Any person found to be in violation of §§ 73.015 to 73.024 shall be responsible for and pay all costs of collection, including any attorney fees incurred by the town in the enforcement of §§ 73.015 to 73.024 and the collection of any fines imposed. Any fine that is unpaid within 30 days of the date of the citation issued shall result in the revocation of the registration of the golf cart used in the commission of the violation.
(b) In the event that any person may be found to be in violation of §§ 73.015 to 73.024 of this chapter more than three times in any calendar year, the privilege of operating a golf cart in the town by that person may be suspended by the Town Council upon proper resolution thereof. Any person who receives a citation under this division (C) whose golf cart driving privileges are suspended, or whose golf cart registration has been revoked, may petition the Town Council, in writing, for a hearing on said citation or for reinstatement. For the purposes of this division (C)(2)(b), the violations necessary for the suspension of golf cart driving privileges in the town shall be considered against the golf cart being driven at the time of such violation as well and may result in the suspension of the golf cart’s registration with the town.
(D) (1) A violation of § 73.035 of this chapter shall consist of a Class A infraction and be punishable as provided by law by state statutes.
