§ 75.35 REGISTRATION AUTHORITY FOR UNIVERSITY BICYCLES MAY BE DELEGATED.
   All duties or portions thereof of registration evolving on the Police Chief pursuant to this chapter may be delegated to the Director of Campus Safety of Bowling Green State University as to bicycles or motorized bicycles owned by students and employees of the University. When such a delegation is made, the Police Chief shall provide the Director of Campus Safety with the numbers of registration cards and tags necessary for such purpose. The University shall be entitled to retain one-half of the license fee, for registering bicycles or motorized bicycles on behalf of the city, and one-half the recovery fee for a bicycle returned to its owner, which sum represents administrative and processing costs of the registration or recovery. The balance of the fee shall be forwarded by the Director of Campus Safety or Bowling Green State University, to the city, upon collection thereof from the registrant. The fees set forth in § 75.32 for a duplicate tag and/or registration card shall be payable in full to the city regardless of where the duplicate tag and/or registration card are issued.
