The Bowling Green-Warren County Health Department shall be governed by the Bowling Green-Warren County Board of Health composed of twelve (12) members, one (1) of whom shall be the Mayor, City Manager or the City Manager’s designee, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with approval of the Board of Commissioners, and one (1) of whom shall be the County Judge Executive. All other members shall be appointed by the Secretary of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services pursuant to applicable State law. The members of the Board shall receive no compensation for their services.
