a. There is hereby created the position of Electrical Inspector. He shall be appointed by the City Manager and be responsible to the Chief Building Inspector in the Building and Inspection Division of the Department of Housing and Community Development.
b. It shall be the duty of the Electrical Inspector to inspect all electrical installations and look after the enforcement of laws, rules and regulations relating to the installation of electrical wiring and apparatus in public and private buildings based on the current National Electrical Code and City ordinances.
