The Authority shall take all appropriate steps to comply with federal and state laws and regulations to ensure the Authority's ability to regulate the franchisee's charges and rates which are subject to review or approval. No rates or charges subject to local approval shall be changed at any time except upon approval of the Authority following regulations established by the Authority, other applicable law and federal regulations.
The Authority has the right to apply any one or combination of the following remedies in the event a franchisee violates any provision of the law, this Ordinance or its franchise agreement:
(a) Impose liquidated damages in such amount, whether per day, incident or other measure of violation, as provided in the franchise agreement. Payment of liquidated damages by the franchisee will not relieve the franchisee of its obligation to meet the franchise requirements.
