The Human Resources and Risk Management Director shall be in charge of the Department of Human Resources and Risk Management subject to the supervision of the City Manager. The Human Resources and Risk Management Director shall be responsible for the general supervision of the functions and activities of the Department, including administration of the City’s personnel merit system. The Director shall carry out those duties and responsibilities assigned to the office by ordinance, municipal order and administrative order. Chapter 17 (Personnel Policies) of the Code of Ordinances further enumerates the duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources and Risk Management Director.
