§ 123.004 SANITATION REQUIREMENTS.
   The premises used for a barber shop shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition. All persons engaged in the operation of the barber shop must keep themselves clean in person and clothing. Utensils and tools must be sterilized before being used on a patron. It shall be unlawful to keep as a barber, or other employee in any such shop, any person afflicted with a contagious disease of any kind. The Health Commissioner shall make or cause to be made inspections necessary to ensure compliance with the provisions of the subchapter.

DEPARTMENT STORES
§ 123.015 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   DEPARTMENT STORE. A store in which more than two distinct lines of merchandise are sold or offered for sale.

§ 123.016 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   No person shall operate or conduct a department store, as above defined, without securing a license.

§ 123.017 APPLICATION FOR LICENSE.
   Any person desiring to engage in the business of conducting a department store, as above defined, shall make application to the City Clerk for a license. The application shall state the name of the applicant, the place of the business, the number of persons engaged, in the conduct of the business and other information desired by the City Clerk.

§ 123.018 LICENSE FEES.
   The annual license fee to be paid by the applicant shall be $75 per year, in accordance with § 39.01(C) of this code, Classification III.

FLORISTS
§ 123.030 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   FLORIST. Any person engaged in business of selling, offering for sale, or keeping with the intention of selling at retail flowers, bridal bouquets, funeral designs or growing plants.

§ 123.031 LICENSE REQUIRED; FEE.
   No person shall engage in the business of florist without having procured a license. The annual license fee shall be $50. Every license shall expire on the April 30 next after its issuance. No license shall be issued for a sum less than the full amount of the annual license fee.
