BARBER SHOPS
§ 123.001 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   No person shall conduct or operate a barber shop in the city without having obtained a license as required.

§ 123.002 APPLICATION FOR LICENSE.
   Any person desiring to conduct a barber shop in the city shall make application in writing to the City Clerk, stating the name of the applicant, the place where such barber shop is to be conducted, and other pertinent information.

§ 123.003 LICENSE FEE.
   The annual license fee to be paid by each person to whom a license shall be issued hereunder shall be $50 per year. All licenses shall expire on the April 30 next after the issuance.

§ 123.004 SANITATION REQUIREMENTS.
   The premises used for a barber shop shall be kept in a clean and sanitary condition. All persons engaged in the operation of the barber shop must keep themselves clean in person and clothing. Utensils and tools must be sterilized before being used on a patron. It shall be unlawful to keep as a barber, or other employee in any such shop, any person afflicted with a contagious disease of any kind. The Health Commissioner shall make or cause to be made inspections necessary to ensure compliance with the provisions of the subchapter.

DEPARTMENT STORES
§ 123.015 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   DEPARTMENT STORE. A store in which more than two distinct lines of merchandise are sold or offered for sale.

§ 123.016 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   No person shall operate or conduct a department store, as above defined, without securing a license.
