(a) The Police Department will consist of the following positions, and shall be filled as funding is made available by Council:
(1) Chief of Police (Classification E5);
(2) Administrative Sergeant (Classification U8);
(3) Administrative Clerk (Classification U2);
(4) Investigator (Classification U7);
(5) Three Sergeants (Classification U6);
(6) Patrolmen or probationary patrolmen with a limit of six (Classification U3 or U5);
(7) Up to a total of five dispatchers (Classification U1).
(b) The Police Department shall be organized and utilized in accordance with Exhibit A as attached to Ordinance 8(92-93), and the classifications in accordance with the City Personnel Manual.

(a) The Chief of Police and each police officer shall be allowed a uniform purchase allowance in the amount of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) per year, such amount to be paid in a lump sum by the City Auditor in December of each year.
(b) The Chief of Police and each police officer shall be allowed a uniform cleaning allowance in the amount of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per year, such amount to be paid in a lump sum by the City Auditor.
