9-1-2: GENERAL SUPERVISION AND CONTROL:
The department shall be under the control and supervision of the police chief, who shall be the executive officer of the police department. He shall be responsible to the president and board of trustees for the efficient operation of the department. (Ord. 531, eff. 1-1-1967)
