ADOPTING ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE ENACTING THE REVISED, CODIFIED AND AMENDED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF BEDFORD PARK, COUNTY OF COOK AND STATE OF ILLINOIS

   WHEREAS, numerous changes and additions have been made in the general ordinances of the village of Bedford Park, county of Cook and state of Illinois, since the formation of the village; and

   WHEREAS It is deemed necessary that such ordinances be revised, that defects and omissions in the same be corrected, that amendments and additions thereto should be enacted, and that they should be enacted in a form codified and arranged in appropriate titles, chapters, and sections.

   THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BEDFORD PARK, COUNTY OF COOK AND STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the following ordinance be and the same is hereby adopted as the code of the general ordinances for the village:

AN ORDINANCE IN REGARD TO THE PUBLICATION OF THE GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF BEDFORD PARK, COUNTY OF COOK AND STATE OF ILLINOIS

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BEDFORD PARK, COUNTY OF COOK AND STATE OF ILLINOIS:

   SECTION 1: That the general ordinances of the village of Bedford Park, as codified, revised and consolidated, and as passed by the president and board of trustees of said village on the 30th day of April, A.D. 1965, be, and the same are hereby ordered to be printed and published, in a bound volume, to be entitled "Village Code of Bedford Park, Illinois, 1965".

   SECTION 2: That said village code shall be so printed and published that the book will show on its face by means of appropriate words on its title page or otherwise that said code has been so published by authority of the president and board of trustees.

   I, Everett C. Larsen, village clerk in and for the village of Bedford Park, county of Cook and state of Illinois do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of an ordinance in regard to the publication of the general ordinances of the village of Bedford Park, adopted and passed by the president and board of trustees of said village on the 30th day of April, A.D. 1965, and that the same was signed and approved by the president of said village on the said 30th day of April, A.D. 1965.

   I further certify that said ordinance was deposited and filed by me in the office of the village clerk of said village on the said 30th day of April, A.D. 1965, all of which appears by the files, papers and records of said village.

   I further certify that I am the keeper of the records, papers and ordinances of said village of Bedford Park.

   IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the corporate seal of said village, this 30th day of April, A.D. 1965.
