Any person who shall wilfully offer any hinderance to any officer or fireman in the discharge of his duty at a fire, or shall wilfully destroy, injure or deface any engine or other fire apparatus belonging to the village, shall for every offense be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine of not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each and every offense in addition to the cost of replacing or restoring equipment to its original condition prior to damage.
