1308.01 NO GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY.

   Nothing in any building, plumbing or electrical code or ordinance, or any other provision relating to the construction of or alteration, addition or improvement to any building or component of a building shall constitute a warranty or guarantee of any kind relating to a building or component. Neither the issuance of a permit, nor the completion of an inspection, nor the issuance of an occupancy permit shall constitute a warranty or guarantee either that the construction or alteration complies with all applicable laws and ordinances or that it is free of defects or will perform or last in any particular way.
