(a) Demolition Permit(s) Fees. Fees are charged to cover the costs of permit reviews, pre- and post-demolition site inspections. Fee schedules are established by ordinance and may be revised from time to time.
(b) Surety Bond. A surety bond, cashier's check, or cash in the amount of $10,000 must be deposited with the City of Bedford for any building demolition involving structures in excess of 5,000 s.f. area. This bond will be released by the Building Commissioner upon final inspection and documentation of compliance with demolition and restoration plans and applicable waste disposal regulations.
