Excavation and fill permits shall be valid for one year (1 yr.) and shall expire by limitation when no work is started within one hundred eighty (180) days from the date of issuance, provided, however, that two (2) renewals, which shall be valid for one year (1 yr.) periods shall be granted upon written application made prior to the expiration of the permit and payment of a fee of one-half (1/2) of the permit fee; provided, further, that the minimum fee for any renewal shall be the sum of twenty five dollars ($25.00) and the maximum fee for any renewal shall be the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00).
