553.04 STOPPING ON TRACK NEAR STREETS.
   No railroad company, conductor, engineer or other person in the employ of any railroad company shall keep standing any locomotive or train of cars on any track or sidetrack nearer than fifty feet (50 ft.) from the nearest side line of the streets so crossed by the railroad company's tracks. This requirement shall not interfere with the necessary stoppage when attached to an engine engaged in the actual work of switching cars and making up and dividing trains and the handling of freight therein, nor with such cars or engines when unloading or loading passengers, freight or fuel at any established place of business.
