By authority of Ohio R.C. 9.60 and 737.041, in order to provide additional fire protection in times of emergency, the City will extend the services of its Fire Division for emergencies to any other political subdivision of the State of Ohio upon the authorization of the City Manager, Fire Chief or Assistant Chiefs. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with any political subdivision of the State of Ohio for such emergency fire services, and is authorized to accept reimbursement for the actual expense to the City of emergency fire services to a political subdivision where no contract exists between such political subdivision requesting emergency fire service and the City.
