(a) The City Manager shall keep a current inventory showing all real and personal property of the City and its location in accordance with its use by the various divisions of the Department of Public Safety.
(b) It shall be the duty of each division head of the Department of Public Safety having Municipal property in his control to keep an active inventory of such property and to furnish the City Manager with a copy thereof. All such personal property shall be plainly marked “Property of the City of Bedford, Division of ”, setting forth in such blank space the name of the division for which such property has been assigned and is inventoried as a part of the property of such division. It shall further be the duty of such division head to cause such personal property to be so identified and marked.
