(a) Council for the City of Bedford hereby authorizes the Finance Department to establish the program providing Bedford residents joining the Bedford Heights Community Center with a seventy-five dollar ($75.00) rebate upon becoming members of the facility.
(b) The City of Bedford will provide the rebate on a yearly basis provided Bedford residents display proof that they have paid the applicable yearly membership fee of the Bedford Heights Community Center. A rebate request must be submitted prior to the membership expiration date. Failure to submit the request prior to the expiration date will result in loss of the rebate. Further, if any monies are due the City for the reasons stated in Section 133.22, the Finance Director may apply any rebate to those bills.
