The administrative officers and the various employees of the City shall, upon receiving their appointment to office or upon employment and before entering upon their duties of office or employment, execute a bond in favor of the City for faithful performance of their respective duties with good and sufficient sureties approved by Council in the amounts as are on file with the Director of Finance.
