SECTION XI-1. POWERS.
   Property within the corporate limits of the Municipality may be appropriated for any public or Municipal purpose and subject only to the limitations thereon imposed by the Constitution of the State. Said appropriation shall be made in the manner herein provided. By such appropriation the Municipality may acquire a fee simple title or any less estate, easement, or use. The Municipality also may not acquire more property than is necessary for the particular public or Municipal purpose.
   Appropriation of property located outside of the corporate limits of the Municipality shall be made in the manner provided by general law. (11-8-22)
