The Building Inspector shall give to the performance of his or her duties such time as is required. During the terms of their employment neither the Building Inspector nor any assistant shall be employed or engaged, directly or indirectly, in any building business or enter into a contract for building for others or for furnishing materials, plans or specifications for others.
