The City Council shall have the care, supervision and control of all public highways, bridges, streets, alleys, public squares and commons within the city and shall cause the same to be kept open and in repair and free from nuisances.

Motor vehicles including pick-up campers and coaches, motorized dwellings, buses, boats and recreational equipment including boat and tent trailers of any kind or type without current license plates shall not be parked or stored on any city street, street right-of-way, sidewalk space or alley.

It shall be unlawful for any person to maliciously and willfully and without lawful authority cut down, injure or destroy any tree, plant or shrub located upon city property. It shall be unlawful for any person to maliciously or willfully injure or destroy any sodded or planted area, building, structure, equipment, fence, bench, table or any other property either real or personal, belonging to the city. It shall be unlawful for any person to litter or commit any waste upon the city parks or other city property.
