(a) Sink and Bathroom Facilities in Dwellings. Every dwelling unit shall contain:
(1) A kitchen sink in good working condition, properly connected to an approved water and sewer system; and
(2) A room or rooms affording privacy and equipped with a flush water closet, lavatory basin and bathtub or shower in good working condition, properly connected to an approved water and sewer system.
(b) Bathroom Facilities in Hotels and Rooming Houses. In hotel buildings and rooming houses there shall be not less than one toilet room for each sex containing not less than one water closet, one lavatory, and one tub or shower bath for every six occupants.
(c) Location in Basement or Cellar. No such primary facilities shall be located in a basement or cellar unless associated with a dwelling unit meeting the requirements as set forth in Section 1365.03
(d).
(d) Access to Bathrooms and Water Closets. No dwelling or dwelling unit containing two or more sleeping rooms shall have such room arrangements that access to a bathroom or water closet compartment intended for use by occupants of more than one sleeping room can be had only by going through another sleeping room; nor shall room arrangements be such that access to a sleeping room can be had only by going through another sleeping room or a bathroom or water closet compartment.
(e) Floors and Ventilation of Bathrooms and Water Closets.
(1) Every water closet compartment and bathroom shall be floored with a surface which is reasonably impervious to water and which can be easily kept in a clean and sanitary condition.
(2) Every bathroom and water closet compartment shall be provided with windows meeting the requirements for light and ventilation of habitable rooms prescribed in Section 1365.02, or with an approved mechanical or gravity ventilation system affording adequate ventilation, and shall be maintained in good working condition at all times.
(f) Piped Hot and Cold Running Water.
(1) Every kitchen sink, lavatory basin, and bathtub or shower required under the Housing Code shall be connected and supplied with hot and cold running water.
(2) Within one year after the effective date of the Housing Code every dwelling shall have supplied heating facilities which are properly installed and connected to water lines. These facilities shall be maintained in safe and good working condition and shall be of a sufficient capacity to supply an adequate amount of water at every required kitchen sink, lavatory basin, bathtub, or shower at a temperature of not less than 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
(g) Sewerage from House Trailer. No owner or occupant of a house trailer shall discharge any sewerage or waste water from toilets, showers, bathtubs, slop sinks, lavatories, kitchen sinks, laundries, floor drains or similar plumbing fixtures any place except into the City sanitary sewerage system.
