The city shall engage in financial cooperation and assistance with and to the Tri-State Airport Authority to the extent that the city becomes a member thereof and has representation thereon. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to appoint a member of the Tri-State Airport Authority to serve for a period of three years from and after appointment.
