911.01 WHEEL CHAIR RAMPS REQUIRED.
   After January 1, 1974, all streets constructed within the City shall have wheel chair ramps constructed at intersections thereof with other streets where required by the Planning Commission. All lines, grades and placing of such wheel chair ramps shall be set by the City Engineer. All such wheel chair ramps are to be constructed in accordance with such lines, grades and placings and in accordance with any further plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer. Such construction is to be completed concurrently with the construction of the street.

911.02 INSTALLATION OF CURBING.
   (a)   A property owner desiring to install a new sidewalk or repairing an existing sidewalk and desiring to install a new integral concrete street curb with said sidewalk shall be eligible for reimbursement from the City of Ashland at a rate not to exceed six dollars ($6.00) per each lineal foot of approved integral curb installed.
   The need for integral curb must be approved by the City Engineering Division prior to removal and installation.
   The new integral curb must be inspected and approved by the City Engineering Division and must be in compliance with the standard construction specifications on file in the City Engineering Division.
   (b)   A property owner desiring to replace an existing free-standing street curb or curb and gutter with a new concrete curb or curb and gutter shall be eligible for payment from the City at a rate not to exceed ten dollars ($10.00) per each lineal foot of approved free-standing curb or curb and gutter installed.
   The need for free-standing curb or curb and gutter must be approved by the City Engineering Division prior to removal and installation.
   A new free-standing curb or curb and gutter must be inspected and approved by the City Engineering Division and must be in compliance with the standard construction specifications on file in the City Engineering Division.

911.99 PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
