An employee in an hourly rate position or in a State or federal grant-funded position that is in the exempt service pursuant to § 802(b)(14) or (17) of the Charter or in a position assigned to the Department of Social Services that is in the exempt service pursuant to § 6-2-103(b) of this Code shall receive pay and benefits as specified in a written agreement between the employee and the County and in accordance with available appropriations in the annual budget and appropriation ordinance.
