§ 5-1-205. Credited service.
   (a)   Generally. A participant shall receive credited service for actual plan service in accordance with § 5-1-206; credited pre-plan military service in accordance with § 5-1-209; disability leave service in accordance with § 5-1-210; purchased service in accordance with § 5-1-211; and transferred service in accordance with §§ 5-1-301 et seq.
   (b)   Types of credited service. The following types of credited service shall be computed individually based on full calendar months, with any remainder amount of days numbering at least 15 days in any calendar month for any individual type of credited service counted as one full calendar month of credited service: actual plan service; credited pre-plan military service; purchased service; and transferred service.
   (c)   Disability leave service computation. Disability leave service shall be computed based on each unit of 22 days of accrued unused disability leave and any remainder amount of days of accrued unused disability leave numbering at least 11 days but less than 22 days, counted as one full calendar month of credited service. The number of hours of disability leave that equal one day is based on a participant's scheduled hours per day at the date of termination of employment.
   (d)   Time periods not counted more than once. A period of time may not be counted more than once for purposes of computing the credited service to which a participant is entitled, and the same period of credited service may not be used more than once for purposes of vesting in the benefits of a plan and for determining the eligibility for and the amount of monthly pension benefits under a plan or for purposes of vesting in the benefits of more than one plan and for determining the eligibility for or the amount of monthly pension benefits under more than one plan.
