§ 5-1-301. Definitions.

   In this subtitle, the following words have the meanings indicated.

      (1)   "Previous system" means the retirement or pension system from which an employee transfers.

      (2)   "State or local retirement or pension system" means any retirement or pension system operated under the laws of the State or any political subdivision of the State other than the County.
