Prior to covering and backfilling a new water line, the user shall notify the Superintendent of the Water Department that the new water hookup is completed. The new line shall not be covered or backfilled, and no water service shall commence until the Superintendent, or someone designated by the Village President, has inspected and approved the new water hookup.
