The Director of Public Safety is hereby authorized to mark off individual parking spaces in the parking zones and areas designated under Section 353.02 and in such other areas as may hereafter be established by ordinance and such other zones as may hereafter be established within such areas. Parking spaces shall be designated by lines painted or durably marked on the curbing or surface of the parking areas. At each space so marked off, it shall be unlawful to park any vehicle in such a way that such vehicle shall not be entirely within the limits of the space designated.
