353.10 DUTY OF POLICE AND/OR METER PATROL IN CASE OF VIOLATIONS; CITATION TAGS .

   (a)   Police officers and/or meter patrol, acting in accordance with the instructions issued by the Chief of Police shell report:

      (1)   The number of each parking meter which indicates that a vehicle occupying a metered parking zone adjacent to such parking meter is or has been parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter.

      (2)   The state license number of such vehicle.

      (3)   The nature of the violation.

      (4)   Any other facts, a knowledge of which is necessary to a thorough understanding of the circumstances attending such violation.

   (b)   Police officers and/or meter patrol shall attach a notice to any illegally parked vehicle stating the vehicle is parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter or in violation of the provisions of Chapter 351.
