163.05.1 BONUS FOR NON-USE OF SICK LEAVE.
   The City of Youngstown agrees to award a cash incentive to any officer or employee in the various departments of the City of Youngstown, Ohio, not included in any bargaining unit, therefore, designated as "Management", including the Youngstown Municipal Court and the Youngstown Clerk of Courts, for non-use of sick leave in the following manner:
   The City desires an incentive for employees not to abuse sick leave. Therefore, for each quarter in which an employee does not use his/her sick leave and maintains a minimum of 120 hours, he/she shall be entitled to a bonus as follows:
   Effective January 1, 2022, $400,00 per three (3)-month period (October 1 through December 31, from the previous year, inclusive, January 1 through March 31, inclusive, April 1 through June 30, inclusive, and July 1 through September 30 of the calendar year, inclusive).
   Effective January 1, 2023, $400.00 per three (3)-month period (October 1 through December 31, from the previous year, inclusive, January 1 through March 31, inclusive, April 1 through June 30, inclusive, and July 1 through September 30 of the calendar year, inclusive).
   In the case of the Police and Fire Chiefs, they shall receive, notwithstanding the amounts stated in this section, no less than the amounts received by the respective Police and Fire Department bargaining unit members as called for in their collective bargaining agreements.
   The above cash bonuses are to be payable at the end of November or early December in the calendar year in which earned for the previous completed four (4) quarters. The cash bonuses for non-use of sick leave are not pro ratable under any circumstances.
