143.01 AMBULANCE SERVICE.
   (a)   Dispatch. The Chief of the Fire Department is hereby authorized to send an ambulance of the Fire Department to locations outside the confines of the City limits on any occasion when the sending of the ambulance will not conflict with the requirements within the City limits itself, and to answer all calls for service of the ambulance to industrial plants and business organizations of the City.    (b)   Billing. The Fire Chief is authorized to bill and/or charge all industrial, business, individual persons and/or residents and other concerns or establishments, making use of a City ambulance the amount of one hundred eighty-five dollars ($185.00) per trip which does not require paramedic service and the amount of four hundred dollars ($400.00) per trip which does require paramedic service. The City shall further agree to accept Medicare, welfare or other insurance payments as full payments where required. (Ord. 88-576. Passed 10-19-88.)
