The license fee for the operation of a public bowling alley shall be payable in advance. The life of the license, except as otherwise provided, issued under this chapter shall terminate at midnight on the night of December 31 in the year in which issued. Fees for all licenses that have less than one year to run from date of issuance shall be computed on the quarter year amount for the time which the license has to run before the time of its expiration. A license shall be void, if transferred, and shall be subject to revocation by the Mayor for misconduct of the party holding the same.
