   523.99 VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES.
   (a)   It shall be unlawful for any person to smoke or possess lighted smoking material in any area restricted by the provisions of this chapter.
   (b)   Any person who violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
   (c)   Each day on which a violation of any provision of this chapter occurs is a separate and distinct offense and shall be punishable as such.
