722.02 REQUIREMENTS.

   No person, firm or corporation shall engage in, contract for or represent himself/herself as being a specialty contractor within the City of Youngstown without first being registered in such trade by the City of Youngstown.

   Provisions of this chapter do not apply to a person who is a bona-fide owner and occupant of a single family dwelling who personally performs work upon the premises occupied or to be occupied by the owner thereof as such owner’s established residence. Any work performed by such owner and occupant shall be subject to all other provisions of the City’s Building and Housing Codes.
