947.01 IDENTIFICATION CARDS TO BE FURNISHED BY UTILITY.

   Any person operating a public utility within the City for supplying the residents with heat, electricity, gas, water or telephone service, and any City department operating a municipal or uncontrolled utility shall supply all employees, authorized in the discharge of their duties to enter dwellings or other buildings for the purpose of reading meters, inspecting equipment or any other purpose, with identification cards as hereinafter prescribed.
