931.08 SERVICE OUTSIDE CORPORATE LIMITS; CONTRACT WITH POLITICAL SUBDIVISION.

   The Engineer is authorized to negotiate a contract, subject to final approval by Council, with each benefited political subdivision now connected to the City sewerage system for the treatment and disposal of its sewage and industrial wastes. Contracts shall be based on the same conditions and charges and contain the same date for starting the sewerage service charge set forth in this chapter.

   In order that no advantage may accrue to any political subdivision now connected to the City sewerage system, by reason of its delay in consummating a contract with the City for treatment and disposal of its sewage and industrial wastes, the sewerage service charge shall be made retroactive from the effective date of the contract, to the effective date of Section 935.20.

   A contract with a political subdivision not now connected to the system shall be made only by specific authority of Council. (Ord. 80-554. Passed 6-25-80.)
