785.17 SOLICITATION OF BUSINESS.
   No driver or chauffeur of any taxicab or automobile for hire, nor any other person shall, while upon the public streets or highways of the City, solicit patrons or passengers for such vehicle in any other way than in an ordinary tone of voice from the seat of his vehicle and by the display of a sign attached to his vehicle, and such sign shall not be more than eight inches square in size. It shall be unlawful for any owner, driver, chauffeur or agent of any, to solicit patronage at or about a saloon or grillroom. (1967 Code §117.17)
