760.05 DAMAGES; FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY; BOND.
No person, firm or corporation operating within the limits of the City, pursuant to Ohio R.C. Chapter 1509 and/or this chapter shall cause damage to any street, avenue, alley, lane or any public grounds or property within the limits of the City by virtue of the operation or use of any motor vehicle or equipment.
To assure financial responsibility for repairs necessitated by violations of this section, the applicant for the permit shall file with the City Engineer or his designee a road bond from a surety company authorized to do business in the State in an amount not less than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), conditioned on compliance with this section.
Any bond obtained to comply with this section may be released after the completion of drilling operations upon certification by the office of the City Engineer that no damage has occurred to City streets, avenues, alleys, lanes or any public grounds or property as a result of oil or gas well operations within the City limits under the permit.
