757.04 RECORDS TO BE KEPT; CONTENTS AND METHODS.

   Every person licensed under the provisions of this chapter shall keep a correct list and description in a book for that purpose, of every article pledged or deposited with him, or on which advances of money have been made, or which may have been purchased by him. Each entry shall be numbered consecutively commencing with number one and shall, at all times, when required by the police officer or Mayor as provided by Section 757.05, produce and show any article so listed and described which may be in his possession. He shall also register in the book the name and place of residence of the depositor and time when the deposit was made. All entries shall be written in ink in the English language, and no entry shall be erased, obliterated or defaced.
