747.16 INSPECTIONS OF JUNKYARDS.

It shall be the duty of the Chief of the Fire Department, through the Fire Inspection Bureau of the Department, to inspect or cause to be inspected all junkyards and junk shops in the City at least once every four months. The inspection shall be for the purpose of seeing that premises are operated in conformity with the provisions of this chapter and other ordinances applicable, and that they are kept in a safe, sanitary condition. (1967 Code §116.16)
