731.09 ADVERTISING.

(a) No advertising matter or sign whatever shall be displayed upon any sidewalk bench except on the front and rear surfaces of the backrest, and not more than fifty percent (50%) of each such surface shall be so used. No obscene, immoral or indecent advertising shall be permitted, and all advertising shall be subject to the approval of the Engineering Commissioner.

(b) No advertising matter or sign on any bench shall display the words "Stop", "Look", "Drive-In", "Danger", or any other word, phrase or symbol which might interfere with, mislead or distract traffic. (1967 Code §95.71)
